Meera Varma, MPH, MSW, is a Mental Health Activist and TEDx speaker with 10+ years of experience working with federal, private, and nonprofit entities. She is dedicated to reducing the rates of suicide through policy implementations and facilitating conversations on an interpersonal level.
Driven by a deep commitment to addressing the youth mental health crisis, Meera has collaborated with national leaders including Oprah, President Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, Vice President Harris, and U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy.
Meera has her Master’s in Public Health (MPH), a Master’s in Social Welfare (MSW), and a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. Her work focuses on health policy and addressing mental health across the lifespan.
